Eastern Women’s Committee of Fifty was founded in April 1986 by Irene Southard Collins with a heartfelt mission — to uplift and strengthen the Eastern Birmingham communities. Our members are passionate about enhancing the quality of life for others through community service, civic leadership, and professional excellence.
Since our founding, Eastern Women’s Committee of Fifty has proudly raised more than $1.1 million and contributed thousands of volunteer hours to make a lasting impact on the Greater Birmingham area.
